Membership Offering
Renaissance is a special place, and history has shown that when families have the opportunity to experience the club, they truly love it. In these economically difficult times, we feel it is our responsibility to make sure that we provide potential members with progressive membership program offerings tailored to fit their individual needs.
As a result, we have developed two unique membership programs– "Renaissance Now" and "Recallable Golf Membership". These programs provide prospective members with the opportunity to fully experience membership at Renaissance, without committing to a long-tem relationship. Learn more about these programs below.
Membership Categories
In order to provide exclusivity and availability of facilities and services to members, the Club is offering a limited number of memberships in the following categories: Golf (including Full Golf, Renaissance Now, Recallable Golf, Non-Resident Golf, and Corporate), Sports, and Social.
Full Membership
A Full Golf Membership allows the member to use all of the golf, recreational (fitness and tennis), swimming and social facilities provided at the Club. Full Golf Members shall not pay greens fees but shall pay golf cart fees. Full Golf Members shall have priority in reserving golf starting times.
Renaissance Now Membership
Renaissance Now members are afforded all of the rights, privileges and obligations of Full Golf Members. A Renaissance Now Membership is available by making a 10%, fully refundable deposit toward the current initiation fee and beginning to pay annual dues. Renaissance Now members will have one calendar year from date of joining to elect whether they wish to remain as a member, at which time they will pay the initiation fee which was applicable on the date they originally joined.
Recallable Golf Membership
Recallable Golf Members pay current annual dues, but do not pay an initiation fee at the time of joining. Recallable Members are afforded all of the other rights, privileges and obligations of Full Golf Members. Upon the club membership reaching 250 Full Golf Members, Recallable Golf Memberships will be subject to recall at the discretion of the Club beginning with the most recently issued Recallable Membership. Upon recall, the member may elect to leave the Club or may obtain a Full Golf Membership by paying the then applicable initiation fee.
Under 40 Golf Membership
Under 40 Golf Membership is available to single persons under 40 years of age or families in which both spouses are under 40 years of age. Under 40 Members are afforded all of the other rights, privileges and obligations of Full Golf Members. Under 40 Members pay 75% of Full Golf dues, but do not pay an initiation fee at the time of joining. Under 40 Memberships will lock in the Initiation Fee in place at the time they join the club. When one of the spouses reaches the age of 40 the membership must be converted to another category of membership and may be converted to Full Golf Membership by paying the locked in Initiation Fee.
Non-Resident Golf Membership
A Non-Resident Golf Membership is available to persons who do not maintain a residence within 25 miles of the Club. Non-Resident Golf Members are limited to nine (9) golf rounds per year (member events, such as member-guest tournaments, are not included in the nine round limit) and have full guest privileges. In addition to golf privileges, Non-Resident Golf Members have full access to all of the recreational, swimming and social facilities of the Club.
Corporate Golf Membership
The Club may offer a limited number of Corporate Memberships. Each Corporate Membership will be issued to a corporation, partnership, trust or other approved form of common ownership. A Corporate Membership permits a minimum of two and maximum of four designated users to use the Club Facilities during each membership year. Each designated user must be an owner, director, officer or employee of the member entity and must be actively involved in the day-to-day business of the member. All designated users must apply for membership privileges and be approved by the Club, and shall be required to pay the applicable golf membership dues.
Sports Membership
A Sports Membership allows the member to use all recreational (fitness and tennis), swimming, and social facilities provided at the Club. Sports Members are allowed two (2) rounds of golf between May 15 and October 1, and may use the golf facilities (when open) during the remainder of the year, in all cases by paying the then applicable accompanied guest fee. Sports Members shall have the right to bring accompanied golf guests during permitted rounds, upon payment of the then applicable accompanied guest fee.
Social Membership
A Social Member will be entitled to use the social facilities of the Club, including the dining facilities and the accommodations for overnight guests. The Club may at its sole discretion allow Social Members to utilize the golf course on a limited basis upon payment of greens fees during certain off-peak times and periods of the year.
